Our Jetta will always hold a special place in our hearts, but it was time for an upgrade. We'd like to introduce our 2008 Nissan Rogue. It's a crossover SUV, aka - gets good mileage but still has legroom in the backseat and lots of storage space. We've fallen in love, it's nice to drive a new car!
This first photo is for Alyssa's Dad. He asked for a picture of Alyssa behind the wheel. Dad: It will be due for a good 'get-the-gunk-out' drive when you come to visit (for those not in the Green-Lee family, get-the-gunk-out is a technical term for driving really fast on the highway to rid the engine of residual gunk).
We leased the Rogue from Michael Jordan Nissan, yes that Michael Jordan. We figured we'd get an autographed basketball upon signature, but no luck.
We still have the Jetta, and drive it every so often. We'll probably drive up to Montreal in the Fall to sell it. A good excuse to come home for a visit!

Why sell the Jetta in Canada? Get more for it up here? Just curious!
We can't sell a used Canadian car in the U.S. We can register it to drive ourselves, but we can't sell it. We'd probably get less for it anyway, it has a Cdn odometer/speedometer and an American wouldn't like to see their mileage measured in kilometers.
